Malaysia's Services Exports Up 4.4% in Q3 2019

Analyzing the export content in the third quarter of this year, tourism is still the main export item of the Malaysian service industry, amounting to RM22.5 billion, and accounting for 50.9% of the country's total service industry export. Other major export items are transportation (RM5.4 billion), telecommunications (RM3.1 billion), manufacturing services (RM3 billion) and financial services (RM700 million).

In the third quarter of this year, Malaysia's main service industry imported product items include tourism (RM13 billion), transportation (RM11.9 billion), telecommunications (RM3.7 billion), intellectual property rights costs (RM2.5 billion) and insurance (2.4 billion) RM) etc.
